Industrial Tour #1: Wood Manufacturing (East of Québec)

This one-day technical tour includes a visit of many major Québec-based wood manufacturing companies, among which a major prefabricated home manufacturer, as well as a glulam manufacturing company. The visit of an important wood primary manufacturing company is also included in the program.

Building Tour #2: Wood Buildings (Québec region)

This one-day tour will allow participants to discover some of the most impressive wood construction projects in Québec City, namely the Origine building with its 13 storeys that make it the tallest all-wood building in the world.

Building Tour #3: Wood Buildings (Montréal region and other)

This complete programme offers a trip to Montréal, the metropolis of the province. This tour will allow participants to visit great projects recently built with wood. This includes: the Synergia Complex, a six-storey glulam building; the Arbora Complex with its three, eight-storey buildings completely made of wood; and the new garage/paddock complex of the Gilles-Villeneuve F1 Circuit. The tour will also include an important commercial building located half way between Montréal and Québec.

Industrial Tour #1: Wood Structure and Systems Manufacturing (Greater Québec region)

This half-day visit includes two companies specializing in the manufacturing of complete wood structures and construction systems. One of them specializes in the manufacturing of light-frame elements while the second one is specialized in timber manufacturing.

Building Tour #2: Wood Buildings (Greater Québec region)

This half-day tour offers some of the most impressive projects made of wood in the greater Québec region. Among those, it will be possible to visit the Telus Stadium, with arches of a 68.5 m clean span between its supports. More details to come.
